Fettuccine Alfredo with Bacon and Spinach

fettuccine 200g
bacon 3 to 4 slices
onion 1/2
spinach 3 bunch
olive oil 2 tb
fresh cream 200ml
salt and pepper a pinch

DIRECTIONS

1 In a large pot of boiling water, cook pasta slightly underdone.
2 Cut onion into wedges, spinach in 5cm pieces and bacon into 1cm thick pieces.
3 Saute the above in olive oil. Add fresh cream and mix until thickened. Salt and pepper.
4 Stir the cooked pasta into the pan of onion and bacon mixture. Mix it thoroughly and serve on a plate. Stir the cooked pasta into the pan of onion and bacon mixture. Mix it thoroughly and serve on a plate.
5 Put smoked butter on top while it is stil hot.
